For our Traer residents, TMU offers a Wireless Internet System. We are continually working to identify means by which to increase bandwidth and faster service for todays digitally intense media. We currently offer speeds on the wireless system to our customers ranging from 512 Kbps (kilobits per second) up to 6 Mbps (megabits per second).
TMU also provides Fiber Internet Service to the main street businesses in Traer. This fiber optic network was installed along Traer's Main Street in 2015 to provide a faster and more stable service. For the business customers utilizing a direct connection to the fiber system we can offer speeds as fast as 1 Gbps (Gigabits per second).
